Ming Hua Yuan Tian Zi Art & Culture Group X Shakespeare's Wild Sisters Group The Unnamed Island: The Hagseed and the Wizard

What?! Shakespeare in a Taiwanese opera?

What kind of magic will happen when Shakespeare's The Tempest merg-es with Taiwanese opera?

The Ming Hua Yuan Tian Zi Art & Culture Group is known for its outdoor stage performances, often merging contemporary theatre concepts with traditional Taiwanese opera to create a fresh perspective. In collaboration with Shakespeare's Wild Sisters Group, their production The Unnamed Is-land: The Hagseed and the Wizard brings together two contrasting theatrical traditions. Drawing inspiration from the recurring themes of family, love, power, and desire found in Shakespeare's plays, they summon "The Un-named Island" to life on stage, offering an experience that feels both famil-iar and unusual.
